Please note registrations for class close 30 minutes before the start time.
We do not allow walk in’s - Please book in advance & online for all sessions.
Our classes start on time; our late policy is simply, don’t be late. Our teachers have to lock the doors and will always start their classes promptly on time. This means even if you are 1-2 minutes late, you will not be able to enter The Space. Please ensure you leave enough time to arrive 5-10 minutes before your class, so you can get settled and acquainted with the teacher!
Our donation-based class is the last Sunday of every month.
CLASS TYPES
-
Our signature Yoga class, blending Asana, Pranayama and Meditation techniques. Whilst our teachers pull from lineages such as (but not limited to) Katonah Yoga®, Vinyasa, Ghosh and Kundalini; we each share our individual perspective from our personal practice. We recognise that biology isn’t binary and every class may offer a totally different experience. The Space ✨ Yoga is suitable for all-levels.
-
Katonah Yoga® founded by Nevine Michaan, incorporates classical Hatha Yoga with Taoist theory, sacred geometry, mythology, metaphor, and imagination in a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well-being. The language of Katonah is metaphor and analogy; identifying the body as the abode, exploring the body as one’s instrument, the mind as the musician and the breath as the melody. The power of analogy allows the individual to use life experiences to define the personal and understand the collective.
The Katonah practices use the keys of breathwork to enter into states of meditation. Breathwork is incredibly accessible, practical, magical and transformative. The practices of Yoga transcend culture. We encourage self discipline, self responsibility, self actualization. The ultimate goals are empowerment, gratitude and graceful use of efforts.

In our Mat Pilates classes, the whole body is considered. Lengthened and strengthened muscles improve posture and overall fitness and retrain dysfunctional movement patterns, restoring optimum physical function. Regardless of age, ability or fitness level, Pilates is beneficial for everyone.
Regular practitioners of Pilates feel a heightened sense of awareness and ease in their bodies, experiencing less pain and increased mobility.

A 6-week Yoga journey to build the foundations of practice. We’ll introduce the basics of breathing (Pranayama), movement (Asana) and meditation techniques. For anyone wanting to build confidence with the basics and start your Yoga journey. 6-week block only.
-
Expect long holds in supported, restorative poses. Restorative Yoga offers therapeutic tools to balance the nervous system in order to truly rest and replenish energy. Students will access states of deep rest, through the architecture of supportive shapes.
-
Based on the classic sequence from the Bishnu Ghosh tradition, this class will take you through 26 Yoga poses & two breathing exercises to strengthen your body, sharpen your focus, and leave you feeling powerful & rejuvenated. Whilst the original sequence repeats each pose twice, this shortened version will work through some of the poses once and other poses twice.

Rocket Yoga is an invigorating and dynamic style of Vinyasa Yoga. It is rooted in the first, second and third series of Ashtanga with modifications designed to make advanced postures more accessible. The sequence incorporates sun salutations, standing and seated postures, inversions and arm balances.
Variations are always offered and students are encouraged to playfully progress at a pace that suits their individuality. As with traditional Ashtanga, there is a focus on breath, energy locks, and focused gaze to create a moving meditation during the practice.

Awakening Yoga® is a modern Yoga system honouring traditional rituals, whilst embracing practical, functional approaches to Asana. Founded by Patrick Beach + Carling Harris, this technique serves as a mirror for self-reflection, guiding practitioners through a journey of curiosity and critical thinking. The principles of Awakening Yoga emphasise a big mindset shift from strict adherence, to open-minded, student-centric curiosity. With a balance of freedom and structure, Awakening Yoga creates space for safe, focused, and creative learning, embodying the principles of ritual, freedom, structure, and potentiality.
-
Our teachers offer a rotated, weekly 90-minute Masterclass sharing various aspects of Yoga (asana, anatomy, meditation, philosophy, pranayama, sound and chanting) from the perspective of their individual learning. This is an extended class that will provide intelligent guidance, offering you the opportunities to explore different areas in depth and perhaps try something totally new. These classes are catered to those with a serious practice.

We’re excited to offer a monthly pay-what-you-can class (Yoga or Pilates), the last Sunday of the month, 9.30-10.30am.
We recognise that wellness might be considered a luxury to some, we want to continue sharing these techniques far and wide, despite financial circumstance.
The donation-based model is a community-supported one, that invites people who are experiencing financial hardship to join class and simply donate what they can.
How much to consider donating:
* The average donation per class ranges from £10-£15
* Single Class Suggested Donation: £12
* If you are experiencing financial hardship: £2-£10
Book on as usual via our website and simply bring cash on the day. Your donations will remain anonymous and we really encourage you to pay what you can. This might mean that one month, you have a few extra quid to donate! And if you can donate £2, what a gift! Thank you.
We hope you share this post with someone who could benefit from being guided amidst a warm & welcoming community. Please note we will continue to offer 1x community space for every class at The Space, alongside our monthly class.
